What do you think about cloning? Would you get cloned if you had the chance? If I had the chance to be cloned I would politely decline, I prefer there only be one me.

If you were a character of a movie which one would you be? Hmmm, good question. I supposed I’d be Riff Randall from Rock ’N’ Roll High School. An unapologetic rebellious spirit who lives for rock ’n’ roll. Fun fact I was named after PJ Soles/ PJ Harvey.
You have opened for Brian Jonestown Massacre and Placebo, what are your favourite songs by them? My favorite Placebo song is Pure Morning (Which they did not play on our tour). My favorite BJM song is Anemone, forgive me for being so on the nose.

What is your song that you are most attached to? Why? That’s hard to say. It varies… Maybe Evelyn. It was the first song I wrote that I felt truly proud of.
Can you tell us an anecdote behind one of your songs? Dead girl was about my first boyfriend. After we’d broken up we did the usual exchange/return of possessions. He returned to me a bag of shake (shitty weed) and a sweater that wasn’t mine. The sweater smelled like him… The song is about a girl being murdered and the scent of her killer lingering. So in essence he murdered my heart and in return left me with a sweater that smelled like him.
The best song you wrote? It’s yet to be written.

The most appreciated one? Probably Jonesies Gonesies. I feel like people connect with its simplicity and raw emotion.

Do you think that believing in God and not believing in God start from the same presumption about something that in itself we have no possibility of knowing, thus reducing even atheism to an act of faith toward the unknown? I’m a Buddhist. In terms of that, yes it’s an act of faith. I don’t think any of us could possibly fathom what’s truly going on in this wild universe. Having faith takes strength. The unknown is where the magic happens.

Where have you been on vacation when you were young? My family couldn’t afford to go on big vacations as a kid. One year we did manage to go to Hawaii, my mom had always wanted to take her family. We made lots of blueberry pancakes.. and I was a very mopey boohoo teenager. I was listening to Radiohead the whole time.
Where are you going on vacation now? I haven’t been on a proper vacation in a while, my life feels more like a rollercoaster.

There are more and more models who do not respond to the “classic” aesthetic canons, do you think that brands really try to change the social dynamics or do you think they are choices dictated by marketing reasons to exploit the politically correct? Successful people find love, but it doesn’t mean they stop chasing their dreams. It’s not like, well we fell in love time to move to the suburbs and have 30 babies and never leave the house again.
Do you think that in certain environments, especially those in which we find fame and money, there is a lack of certain values? People lose sight of reality.
